This season, Ive noticed that online and in stores, fringed sweaters and full sleeves are everywhere I look now that the weather is turning colder and our layers are gradually becoming thicker. Walking through the Victoria Centre in Nottingham just made me realise how popular fringed knitwear is becoming as it takes centre stage at the front of every store I peek a look in. Zara is a great example of what is trending right now in fashion and they have the prime examples of these ultimate trends, at this moment in time.
The trend of the Full sleeve jumpers giving a slouchy, yet structured look reminds me of the victorian era with strong silhouettes with a slightly masculine touch. This is a prime example of how menswear and womenswear interlock and influence each other. I love the way these two trends have an informal, comfortable appearance but also show shape and texture.
