Recently, Tom Dixon collaborated with Ikea and created a new design for them named 'DELAKTIG' which is a bed which turns into a sofa which inverts the idea of the infamous sofa bed. This shows that he can easily take a simple old idea and transform it with his own twist. I feel this design will be a great success and is great for people who don't have a Tom Dixon budget to get one of his designs.

When looking at all of Tom Dixon's designs, I feel you can clearly see that he is inspired by Nature and things we all see outside but don't take much notice of such as water, ice, pylons, buildings and structure. Examples of this are his 'Pylon Chairs' and 'Melt Lights'.

I love the Tom Dixon brand as it is a refined, clean sheet for him to design on the top of. His style is reflected clearly through the products he sells and this to me is a great way for interiors to be shown.
