This week at uni, I've been looking at 8 different brands to decide which one I would like to take forward to create a brand story for, with fragrance in mind. One of the brands which has stood out to me is House of Hackney. Its maximal approach has made me question... whats happened to maximal design and bold materials? So in this blog i'm going talk about the opposite ends of the interior spectrum and how I feel about them.

Tom Dixon Interiors
Tom Dixon is an English designer who specialises in furniture, lighting and accessories. He is his own brand and has amazing interior pieces which lie in some of the greatest spaces. As a brand I feel his designs are very sophisticated with rich colours and deep shades. This is also suggested by his understandable expensive prices. I would say the target consumer of this brand would a middle class 30+ male or female. I was drawn to this brand as I see it as a luxury lifestyle market that anybody can aspire to. I could only dream in having his pieces in my future home!
